Community Conversations
What happens when you begin a conversation with community leaders?
Community Conversations are an excellent way to bring a diverse range of local opinions together in a facilitated way to look at addressing a common social issue.
For the first conversation in April 2013, a workshop was convened to explore what government, social planners, resource companies and community and social service providers could do to deliver stronger services in regional Queensland. The event was attended by thirty - six senior
representatives from key organisations in these sectors across Central and Western Queensland, Mackay, Gladstone, Hervey Bay, Brisbane, Logan and the Gold Coast.
You can read the full Report here - released 31 May 2013 - with follow up conversations taking place in the Rockhampton region.
Please Contact us if you want to discuss how Community Central can facilitate a Community Conversation in your town or local community.
