Collected: Primarily, members from Community Organisations enter information about their services directly into the database however some listings have been transferred through community partnerships. You have the right to change or remove your listing at any time.
Storied: Information is stored in a secure online database that has been designed to provide only the information that is needed to those who have membership. The system uses industry standard security.
Used: Information is used by the public online and by members as outlined in the Membership Booklet. As you are aware, organisations, councils and state and federal governments have different information requirements to do their business.
Disclosed: Information will only be disclosed if it is:
Community Central aims to keep its information up-to-date and if you think we holds incorrect information about you, we would expect you to access your listing and fix it, if you are unable to log in we would love to know about to make sure it is fix it promptly. The Privacy Act requires us to take reasonable action correct information that is incorrect. If the information is stored online it can be corrected quickly however if the information has been printed we may not be able to correct the mistake and reprint it.
